Meet Ted at Midwest Bank. Ted is a Customer Service Representative/New Accounts at our Norfolk Midtown branch. He’s worked for Midwest Bank for three years. Ted grew up mostly in Venezuela, South America, but his dad is from northeast Nebraska and his mom is from eastern Colorado. He’s lived most of his adult life in northeast Nebraska.
Ted primarily works with clients in person and over the phone at the Midtown branch. He helps open new accounts, answers questions, and processes transactions. Ted is bilingual and enjoys the opportunity to work with Spanish-speaking clients.
Ted enjoys spending time with his family, his wife, and their two kids. He also enjoys woodworking and being out in his shop. Ted enjoys soccer and his favorite team to cheer on is the Liverpool Football Club. His favorite destination to visit is Costa Rica but if he had to book his dream vacation, it would be an over-the-water bungalow in Southeast Asia somewhere. And when it comes to retiring, he thinks Costa Rica would be the place to go.
When you bank with Midwest Bank, you’re able to come into the branch and talk to a real person. You get personal help whenever you need it. And if you don’t want to come into the branch, we can also help you do all your banking remotely.
When we asked Ted why he would recommend banking at a community bank. He said, “When you come to a community bank, you get direct, personalized help. We’ll help you with any concerns or questions you might have.”
And if you’re thinking about switching banks, Ted explains why Midwest Bank would be the right choice. “When you bank with Midwest Bank, you’re able to come into the branch and talk to a real person. You get personal help whenever you need it. And if you don’t want to come into the branch, we can also help you do all your banking remotely.”
We asked Ted to tell us his favorite part about working at Midwest Bank. He said, “The family-friendly work environment is really great.” And when we asked him for his favorite memory so far from his time at Midwest Bank, he replied, “The comedian at our last holiday party was pretty funny”. We know how to work hard and help our clients, but we also know how to have fun. And that’s what helps to make Midwest Bank a great place to work.
