Meet Chrystal at Midwest Bank. Chrystal has worked at Midwest Bank for four years and is currently a Retail Specialist at our Deshler Branch. Chrystal grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska, and following high school graduation, she went on to college at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln and the College of Hair Design.
Before coming to Midwest Bank, Chrystal owned her own nail salon business. Now, as a Retail Specialist, Chrystal gets to work with customers every day and really enjoys it. She helps customers open accounts and with their daily banking needs including deposits, wires, and debit cards.
When she isn’t working, Chrystal enjoys spending time with her husband of 24 years, Travis, their three daughters, and two granddaughters. They also have two wiener dogs that keep them busy. We asked Chrystal about her favorite places to visit and we noticed a trend. Her favorite destination? Hawaii. If she could live anywhere in the world? Hawaii. Where does she want to retire? Hawaii.
Same, Chrystal, same.
One of the most important values of Midwest Bank is community. Chrystal shared a great example of community when she described her favorite memory of working at Midwest Bank. “When we get to visit and talk to the elementary school students and teach them about banking and saving money.” That’s what we’re all about. Supporting the community and making it a better place to be.
We love having direct contact with our customers. We get to know you, and your families, and we’re invested in your lives.
In a small town like Deshler, Chrystal loves getting to chat and visit with clients each and every day. With a community bank, it’s all about the relationships. Chrystal says, “We love having direct contact with our customers. We get to know you, and your families, and we’re invested in your lives.” It’s not just about the transactions for us, it’s about the people.
We asked Chrystal what the best part of working for Midwest Bank was. She said, “Family really is first here at Midwest Bank.” And then we asked her to describe Midwest Bank in three words, and Chrystal said, “Best Bank Ever!”
And we couldn’t agree more.
