Meet Ashley at Midwest Bank. Ashley has worked at Midwest Bank for four years and currently serves as the Retail Banking Manager at our Norfolk Midtown branch. Ashley grew up on a farm in Pierce, Nebraska, the same farm where her mom was raised!
Ashley started as a Customer Service Representative and worked her way into her current position as a Retail Banking Manager. Ashley oversees the day-to-day activities at the Midtown location and manages the Customer Service Representatives at the branch. Ashley has more than 15 years of banking experience. She helps assist clients as they come in, answers questions, opens accounts, and provides helpful product knowledge.
We asked Ashley what the best thing was about working at Midwest Bank. She replied, “The bond we create with our coworkers, after all, we are like family here! And I also love the relationships we create with our customers as well.” Community banking is truly all about building relationships, something that everyone at Midwest Bank prides themselves on doing each day.
Here, you’re not just an account number. You’re our customer, and we want to get to know you, your family, your goals, and how we can help you.
When Ashley isn’t working, she loves spending time with her husband of 14 years (high school sweethearts!), their three boys, two dogs, and one cat. Ashley loves checking out the new items at Hobby Lobby, she proudly cheers on the Nebraska Cornhuskers, and when she gets a chance to read, she loves books by Colleen Hoover. And her dream vacation includes anywhere with a beach-front view!
Working at Midwest Bank, Ashley knows first-hand the benefits of working with a community bank. She explains, “Here, you’re not just an account number. You’re our customer and we want to get to know you, your family, your goals, and how we can help you.” Ashley goes on to say, “We are the bank that is focused on building relationships with the customers we serve.” And we’re all really proud of that.
Finally, we asked Ashley if she could describe Midwest Bank in just three words. She summed it up pretty well.
“Family Comes First.”
